Religious people usually behave better than non-religious people

There are many religious people who believe in some sort of God but also there are a lot atheists who do not. In my view religious people do not behave better than non-religious people. There are various facts and figures that support this opinion. In the first place, behaviour does not depend on whether you are religious or not, but on the person’s character. We learn various kinds of behaviour from our environment, especially from family as we grow up and later from school and friends.

In the first place, behaviour does not depend on whether you are religious or not, but on the person’s character. We learn various kinds of behaviour from our environment, especially from family as we grow up and later from school and friends. In addition, there are a lot of people who consider themselves religious, but still behave badly. Most of them think that as long as they atone for their sins, they will be considered good people, when in fact they are not.

On the other hand, it is argued that religious people behave better because they believe that their actions will have influence on their life after death.

All things considered, I strongly believe that non- religious people do not behave worse than religious people. Although those who believe in God may behave better in order to have a better afterlife, in the end it all comes down to the person’s character.
