One republic are an American pop- rock group from Colorado. The band has five members, lead singer Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, drummer Eddie Fisher and cellist Brent Kutzle. Ryan Tedder has a characteristic beautiful voice- he’s the real star of the band and the audience loved him!

The band played at the Denver Arts Centre last Saturday night, one of the city’s best large venues, to an audience of over one thousand. Lighting system and special effects were spectacular. The atmosphere in the crowded venue was fantastic, but the sound quality wasn’t very good.

They kicked off with All the Right Moves and the audience really loved it. After few minutes everyone repeated the words: “so yeah, we're going down”. The highlight of the performance was their single If I Lose Myself- a romantic song that combines beautiful music. Ryan’s singing was wonderfully expressive. Their last song was Secrets- by the end performance, everyone in the audience was singing and dancing. I enjoyed every minute of it.

In conclusion, this was a brilliant gig by a really fantastic band. It was the best concert in my life! I recommend One Republic for anyone who likes music with heart, soul with interesting lyrics. They're well-worth seeing live- if you didn’t see them this time, then you can see them next month in UK. Tell your friends!
