Do religious people behave better than non-religious people?

Is that true that in our country there are a lot of churches, clergymen and places with crucifies? It is, but fewer people want to go to church to pray or talk to God. People go to the church, but they are not really Catholics. So is there any reasons to think that religious people behave better than non-religious people? In the first place, people think that they are Catholics, but in their heart they are not ready to be religious.

In the first place, people think that they are Catholics, but in their heart they are not ready to be religious. They do bad things, because they do not know basic principals of faith. It seems to me that people are less tolerant to other religions. Polish people laugh when someone is for example Buddhist. It is not kind, people can believe in what they want.

Secondly, sometimes someone dear to somebody’s heart dies and desperate people do not know what to do. So, the easiest solution is to talk to God. People start to believe that they are religious. But it is not true. Only the situation makes them believe in God. They are still the same people, who do not know what faith is, and what it means to be a Catholic.

On the other hand, in Poland there are some people who are really religious. They grew up in faith, they always go to church and live trying not to break the Ten Commandments. They behave very well and their behaviour is honest and pure.

Furthermore, religious people’s behaviour is better than non-religious people because they believe that their actions will have influence on their life after death. Religious people belong to communities, go to church where they can act together, do something for other people for example help in charity. Thanks to this they duplicate suitable model of behaviours.

All things considered, it seems to me that there are not a lot of really religious people. Most of them are dishonest with their own feelings. I agree that non-religious people do not behave according to principles of the Ten Commandments, but I believe that they do not behave worse than people who regularly go to church.
