Religion and behaviour

For the origins of religion we have to dig deep into the history when people were convinced that world is held by three elephants, giraffes or whatever they thought was holding the world. That is also the time where we can find first society norms and political principles. The question I would like to answer is whether religious people behave better than non-religious people. And this should be the point where thoughts differ and split in two opinions - they do or don’t behave better.

I belong to the part who agrees that religious people do behave better. Firstly, it is because I live in a society where main part of religious people are christians. They are the ones who are trying to live in complete peace and balance with the world and themselves. Usually they accept everybody and are really friendly. Christians truly try to communicate with others in the way they want people to communicate with them. Secondly, they have accepted all the circumstances they have to live with and they always remember what Jesus did for us. They believe that God is guiding them, if there are some problems christians believe that God was the one who created the problems for them to solve them and they also believe that through this problem solving they will become stronger. Although we do have to remember that in the past there were religion wars and they persuaded people to accept religion, priests were the powerful ones and in many occasions they thought unacceptable and unnecessary reasons to get money from people. However, on the balance, I believe that whether you are religious or not you can behave good. It all depends on you and your choices. I would like to end this with beautiful quote one wise man, known as Martin Luther, said - “We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes, but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers.”
