“I Am Legend” book rewiev
Stunning and inspiring, I thoroughly enjoyed, “I Am Legend” by Richard Matheson certainly the most brilliant fusions of horror and science fiction. The story focuses on the main character Robert Neville the only human left, who tries to survive on earth full of vampires. The book opens with a description of Robert Neville daily routine. Pandemic continues for three years and every day he tries to survive and find out the cause of pandemic and antidote.

The book opens with a description of Robert Neville daily routine. Pandemic continues for three years and every day he tries to survive and find out the cause of pandemic and antidote. But one day he meets women Ruth, who looks like health person, but Neville decides to do blood test. Ruth reluctantly allows him to take a blood sample, but knocks him unconscious when the sample reveals that she is infected. She leaves house and a letter to Robert, which explains that she is a spy of a new vampire society and they are becoming to destroy him. However Neville doesn’t run away and the terrible battle begins, but vampires are stronger and take him to prison. Finally, in the end of the book Robert Neville understands one major thing that he is the antidote.
The thing I liked about the book was that author describes everything in details and everything seems totally real. And of course unexpected and sudden ending made me a good impression. However my only criticism of the book would be that the beginning of the book was a bit boring.
All in all, I would highly recommend this book because it is mysterious, absorbing and thought-provoking, its plot is intriguing and the main character is very strong and extraordinary person. If you are not fantasy lover I would still recommend this story because it teaches you to stay strong, fight and not give up.
