One of the best books I’ve read is the Twilight saga. The names of the books are twilight, eclipse, new moon and breaking dawn. The main characters are Bella, Edward and Jacob. It was written by Stephanie Meyer in 2006 and 2 years laters they made the movie. In my opinion the books is better than the movie but the movie is also one of my favourite movies of all times. It has been translated into many languages and I have read it in 3, Spanish English and German. At my house I have the English version and I can easily read them twice a year, and every time I read it I understand new things. The book is about a girl called Bella Swan who flights to Forks because she wants to visit her father. At school she makes many friends and she falls in love with a really awkward but also handsome guy, called Edward. In the course of the story Bella and Edward get to know each other well and Bella finds out that Edward is a vampire. Meanwhile, she is also seeing another guy called Jacob whose father is Bellas’ fathers best friend. Although Bella only sees him as a brother he feels different about her, and the fact that she is going out with Edward really bothers him. Bella also finds out that Jacob is a wearwolf and she soon discovers that vampires and wearwolves are worst enemies. My favourite part of the first book is when another vampire captures Bella and tries to kill her but Edward saves her. The second book in my opinion is the worst. The plot revolves around Edward, who wants to leave Forks and never come back beacuse he thinks that Bella would be better out without him. Bella is very sad and frustrated because she wants to show Edward that she’s only happy when he’s around and that now her life doesn’t make sense without him. At the end of the story Edward comes back to Fork and everything goes back to normal. The two last books of the saga are very awkward and hard to explain. Basically Bella and Edward get married and have a baby. The baby is half vampire half human and Bella dies while she’s giving birth to it. The only solution is to turn Bella into a vampire so she doesn’t die. At the begging of the last book many things happen. Bella learns how to be a good vampire and not to drink human blood only animal’s. The baby’s name is Reneesme , a mix between the names of Bella’s and Edward’s mothers. Jacob imprints on Reneesme. The book explain that imprinting is very common in wearwolves. When you imprint on someone you have the need to be with that person and to protect her. To sum up, after many difficulties, the story ends well and everyone is happy. I would only recommend this book to girls with a big imagination because for boys it would be harder to understand.
