The biggest problem to life on Earth comes from global warming, greenhouse
effect and the ozon layer’s thinning.
The ozone layer is more and more harmful and there are changes int he
environment, fpr example the ozone hole appared and the ozone layer is
getting thinner, and thinner. Becouse of the thining of the ozone layer more
harmful rays of the sun reach the surface of the earth. As a result beeing the
sun more dangerous. It is possible to develope skin cancer is you get sun burn.
The CO2 traps the heat from the sun and causes the earth and the atmosphere
to get warmer. This is the greenhouse effect and , the greenhouse effect and
the global warming is strengthen each other. This problem has been made
worst by deforastation, forests are cut down for many reasons, but most of
them are related to money or to people’s need to provide for their families. The
biggest driver of deforestation is agriculture. Farmers cut forests to provide
more room for planting crops or grazing livestock. Why is deforestation is a
problem? Becouse the trees areverry important for the environment, and the
people cut diwn too many and it arent a renewable ting. And the people who
dont need that trees what they cut down, they just burn it and the smoke is
hazardous for the environment, and the animals too . Becouse if the people are
destroy the rain forests and lot of animals and plants natural habbitad they
colud become extinct.
Another harmful global issues is that the Industrialised countries have been
burning fossil fuels such as coal oil and gas, pumping out vast quantities of the
carbon dioxid into the atmosphere. And in my view the industrialised country’s
be at fault in global warming. Becouse there will be facilities to make the
factories more environment-friendly, but becouse it cheeper they cant do it.
However the developing countrys such as China and India overtake these
countrys, and its our problem not just the industrialised country’s
responsibility.
There are another polutions such as air, water, and light pollution. This causes
for the factories what for example the factories are emit chemicalias and oil
into the water why becouse the fishis and marine birds are become extinct.
Another effect of global warming is a verry extreme climate change. High levels
of greenhouse gasses int he atmosphere are lead to climate change. The ocens
and the seas are getting warmer and polar ice caps are melting. Furthermore,
the weather is becoming more unpredictable with severe storms and floods, or
unexpected heat wawes and droughts.
To sum up the goverment urgent need to cut carbon emission across the world.
Industrialised countrys are still responsible for most of the CO2 emission. The
countrys are use more renewable energy such as wind wave and solar pover.
And in my oppinion the civil’s colud do some little thing for the environment
for example, do not leave computer, TVs and other equipment on stand by
overnight. We can replace all the simple light bulbs in our home with energy-
saving light bulbs. Moreover we can put solar panel on the roof to heat water
or generate electricity using the sun’s power, what in the beginning wolud be
expensive but few years later it pay off for the people and for the environment
to.
