Since industrialization Earth has been experiencing all kinds of side effects. The mostknow is global warming. Alongside the pharmaceuticals industry underwentexpansion, therefore for several ages the number of people has grown dramatically.Because of these reasons scientists have been developing numerous ways to help ourplanet. I am inclined to believe, that these measures bring a lot of drawbacks.

To begin with, people nowadays use larger quantity of greenhouse gases, which causeglobal warming. There are more cars, planes, thus more exhausted fumes are emittedto the air, society on daily bases uses aerosols, which release harmful gases. Everydaynew factories polluting nature are built to meet people desires. All these factors causeglobal warming and change the structure of climate, bring harsh weathers.

What is more, harmful chemicals, which destroy nature, are used daily. Scientists tryto eradicate poverty, which was caused by the sharp increase in population, byintensifying farming and creating GM crops. In these activities used dangerousmixtures also cause smog, acid rains, increase global warming.

On the other hand, other people claim, that using scientific methods it is possible tobroaden our knowledge about Earth. People are able to find out about various naturalresources, learn how to recycle or use renewable energy, therefore they can undobefore made damage.

Taking everything into consideration, if society paid more attention to naturepreservation, it would be possible to increase the condition of environment byscientific methods after a long-time period. Having said that, for now science bringsjust a few benefits to the nature and does a lot more harm.
