Nowadays an university experience should be done from every youth after the high school. As a matter of fact, going to an university will change you in the best way. It can educate you and make you a mature person that is ready to start a career. But it is true that all the universities have a high cost of tuition fees that could change the families situations and involve money problems. So, the question is: should the university students pay for their own education? Some parents think that the tuition fees should be paid by their sons and daughters that go to the college.

Firstly, if an university student start to pay for his own education, he will realise that going to the university is not a waste of time and understand how much is important for him learn and study hard for get good results.

Secondly, it means that they will have to commit to earn money and save it for the tuition fees. They can find a little job, like a babysitter, a waitress in an restaurant or a shop assistant even though they may lose precious time for study.

Thirdly, not have parents that pay all the costs for you is an opportunity to prove that you are independent.

On the other hand, there are some parents that think that they should pay all the university costs of their sons. Although paying the tuition fees with their own money may be an independent action, many students can be distracted from their studies. For example spending a lot of time working and earning money. Secondly, many parents want pay the tuition fees for their sons since when they were born. So, if they have been saved money for a life, why don’t use it? Thirdly, according to the parents, paying the university costs is the best way to support their sons during their university experience.

Overall, the university costs should be paid by students and no by their parents because in this way they will understand how be literally independent. Despite the problems, it is an important way to grow up and be an adult that is ready to deal with the real world of work.
