There are strong arguments against the government should give money to everybody who does not have enough for day-to-day expenses. First of all, giving handouts to them is not fair to the rest of the citizens who are working and paying their taxes to support a welfare system. So why some people have to work hard to earn money to live on while others wear out the seat of their trousers and wait until the government gives them money. It’s not fair. Another thing is that free money makes people lazy. Giving money to everybody who does not have enought for day-to-day expenses it does not stimulate peole to look for work. Some people became dependent on government support. They thiink why work when you can do nothing and just get money.
