As a society people are less willing to take responsibility for many things, and for some people this includes their own children. From my perspective as a teacher, I think the the things kids get up to hasn’t changed since I was a kid. What has changed is the numI don’t think children are any worse or better than one or two generations ago - I think that society and its demands on families has changed which in turn puts children in very different situations to 40+ years ago.
