There are many different situations which turns us to become an adult. Some people think that the graduation of high school makes us an adult. Others may think that the age of 21 replaces childhood to adulthood. However from my personal experience I can stand three major events that make a person an adult. The first event that makes us an adult is getting a job. This gives us an opportunity to earn our own money and become more independent. I think that the first job is really important aspect of our life and it has great impact on our personalities too. On one hand we can learn how to save money and on the other how to spend it in a good way by buying the most important things we need.

The second event, which deserves an attention is the graduation from college or university. The reason I think it is important is that this means the beginning of a new life with more responsibilities. Thanks to it we can gain some new experiences, such as live away from our parents, rent a room by ourselves and handle every details of our life. All of this is makes us one step closer to become an mature adult.
Finally I believe that marriage has a great impact on our life. Marriage means an independent life from one’s parents with a new person. It is a very good experience because these two persons create a new family and they need to face some new problems, difficulties and responsibilities.
In conclusion, I think that the list of events that make a person an adult can be continued. There are many different life’s situation e.g. getting a driving license or going to the army can change us from child to an adult. Those situations build our self-confidence and makes us independent people. So my point is that every person has different events that influences his/hers life and make him/her an adult.
