Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you to express my strong dissatisfaction with punctuality, quality and customer service offered by your company. Recently I took one of your trains to work, but the journey did not meet my expectations. First of all, I was disappointed with the fact that the train was not kept clean at all. There was dirt all over the place – bemired floors, a lot of dust, not to mention the messy toilets.

Recently I took one of your trains to work, but the journey did not meet my expectations. First of all, I was disappointed with the fact that the train was not kept clean at all. There was dirt all over the place – bemired floors, a lot of dust, not to mention the messy toilets. I think that cleanliness is crucial for the journey to be pleasurable and for people to still choose transport services provided by your company. It is just simply not ethical to make people pay for the tickets and give them nothing in return. Secondly, I decided to order something to eat in the dining car, but that was just another disappointment for me. The dish served did not look aphetically at all and to make matters worse it was completely cold. After lunch I did not feel well due to bad stomach pains. I also feel it is important that you be aware of the behavior of your employees. The waitress was really unfriendly and rude. I think that treating your clients in that way is just disrespectful. Moreover, the train did not arrive at the destination on time, therefore I was also late for a very important business appointment, which made my clients displeased. This lateness almost made me fail to enter into a contract with them. I would really welcome the opportunity to learn how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. Moreover, due to the discomfort and inconvenience I experienced, I request at least partial compensation for the ticket. I feel sure that you take it into kind consideration.
