One of my favorite places in Poland is a small village on the lake, which is named Ciche. It is situated near the Zbiczno, a few dozen kilometers from Toruń. Not many people live there, perhaps because of a place named Ciche, but there is a lovely and peaceful. In my opinion Ciche is a lovely village for families with children. Me, my parents and brother go every year for a holiday. It’s a good place for resting. In the center is a few shops, a church and a small pension. But if we go a dirt path a few hundred meters we find ourselves on the big lake with very clear water, where you can relax. My favorite place is the lake. The lake is surrounded by dense forest all around, and in the middle is the island, where you can swim to the boat. In five places on the lake are lovely beaches where you can spend the whole day, swim or sunbathe. The forest surrounding the lake are bunkers, which were used in Germany during the Second World War. In autumn and spring track around the lake are great for long walks. In contrast, winter view of frozen lake brings us to Scandinavia. In short, Ciche is the best place to spend holiday. You can not just relax in this beautiful place, but also see the remains of the Second World War. I hope that in the future I will be able to build a cottage near the lake.
