These days modern schools offer computers for each of their students. However the majority of schools do not exploit PCs in that way. To my mind schools should provide computers for students to use but not for all of their subjects and only when proper education system and qualified teachers would be ready for this purpose.

Firstly, many present teachers do not know how to use computers and how to teach their pupils by using them. It may be also nerve-wracking or just too complicated for senior professors to learn how to use them. What is more, it would be very exhausting for students to sit down in front of computer screen all day long.

Secondly, it would be very expensive for the government to equip with computers every school in the whole country – it is almost impossible to do right away. In addition, there is no proper software prepared for this purpose and it takes time before we make social researches and develop appropriate educational system for this kind of media.

On the other hand, I think that using computers on the classes would be very fun for students. Every teenager likes new technologies and almost everyone has a personal computer at home.

All things considered, it seems to me that schools should not provide computers for students to use at the present time. There are many things to do before it could happen. Without proper educational system and qualified teachers it just would not make any sense.
