Air Pollution

Air pollution is one of the environmental problems. It is caused by a lot of different pollutants. The main are poisonous gases like: fumes from cars and factories’ chimneys. What’s more, pollutants come from toxic gases which are emitted into air from fridges, aerosols. The next, we burn too much fossil fuels like coal. It is a great source of CO, CO2, So and SO2 in air.

What should be done?

Generally, everybody should be aware of an environment but it demands a lot of actions. First of all, governments and local authorities have to care of installing special filters into chimneys and limit coal burning. It can reduce the emission of toxic gases into atmosphere. Secondly, it is necessary to find and use alternative (renewable) sources of energy like: solar and wind energy. What’s more, a very simple way of protecting the environment is to use public transport rather than take a car. We also have to stop burning rubbish and try to learn how to segregate rubbish in order to recycle them.

Finally, it is needed to educate young children how to be aware of our nature.

At home We can do very simple things to protect our environment. We have to remember to save energy by turning light off, use save bulbs and buy devises which are energy friendly. We can also stop burning rubbish but try to learn segregating them.

Water pollution There are a lot of causes of water pollution. The harmful pollutants come from different sources like: wastes from agriculture, sewages which are in very bad condition. Sometimes a great areas of water are contaminated by oil seeking from tankers.

What should be done to stop water pollution? At home we have to save water by using a shower rather than a bath. We have to remember to turn off running water during cleaning our teeth.

It should be provided strict law regulations and installed modern sewage system.

Rubbish problems

Nowadays people use different materials to keep and carry products. Specially they are plastic bags, bottles, metal cans and other no eco containers. These aren’t biodegradable. We put them out or burn. It causes harmful gases or sometimes is dangerous for animals which can eat or be killed by plastic.

What should be done? The main solution is to educate people how to segregate rubbish in order to recycle them. Moreover, we have to stop burning them. In addition, we should reuse plastic bags and don’t waste paper or food.

Other environmental problems: natural disasters: drought, flood, earthquake, volcano eruption, deforestation, endangered animals and plants species.

Deforestation: There are a lot of forest areas where trees are robbery cutting down. We have to remember that forests are home for unique animals and plants. The next problem is forest fire which destroys large areas. What’s more, acid rains are harmful.

What should be done? We have to educate people of saving forests for our health and for endangered animals and plants. The law regulations should be provide to stop illegal cutting down trees. Reducing an emission of toxic gases into air is necessary. We also have to set National Parks and conservation areas.

Protect animals and plants. Nowadays , in the world there are a lot of animals and plants species in danger of extinction. It means that they can be loose in the future. Forest fires, cutting down trees, air and water pollution cause that animals loose their natural habitat because of lacking food. it provides them to die. The great problem is also illegal hunting or poachering specially for ivory or fur. The climate changes are caused that some lands are under water, so animals are loose food and have to find a new habitat

What should be done?

• provide law regulations
• set National Parks or conservation areas
• strict punishment for illegal hunters
• limit pollution
• educate people to be aware of that problems.

Climate changes. Climate changes are caused by many different reasons like pollution, volcano eruption, weak ozone layer or greenhouse effect. They provide that some areas are under water because of ice caps melting, whereas another are dry. Harsh winters are common in lands where they hadn’t been before. On the other hand, hot and sunny weather is in polar areas.
