Przystanek Woodstock festival in Poland takes place every year in July from 1995. This festival is organized by foundation “Wielka Orkiestra świątecznej pomocy”. It is oragnisation which help collecting money for medical devices for hospitals. Idea of this festival is summarizing action of collecting money. This festival take place in Kostrzyn. One of the strongest feature is a variety of musical styles. In addition, the stop can boast of a fantastic sound system and lighting. But on this festival is not only music. On the festival we can come across at many workshops which give opportunities to learn something new. Amnesty International talk about human rights, other organisation talk about animal rights, environment and ecology. There are also lectures of famous people. In this year was Rafał Sonik, Aleksander Doba, Kasia Kowalska and so on and so forth. We can also listen to jazz music or have fun with standup’ers. These year Woodstock festival also offer that events like motocycle parade, speed dating, dancing lesson. Organisators of this event do not forget about commemorating people who died in Warsaw Uprisng. From the oragnisational point of view people are more aware about security.Many people from “Peace patrol” help participants with different problems. An interesting fact for those who have never visited Kostrzyn during the festival, it may be of any ban on the sale of alcohol except beer throughout the city. On the field you cannot bring glass bottles that could shatter and injure someone, and all law enforcement and information are on the head to eliminate dealers. However, in the Lech’s Zones (which at Woodstock has a monopoly on the sale of their products) to any person who does not look like 30 years he has verified ID.
