Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing in connection with the article about banning private cars in the center of big cities published in your magazine on 1st April 2012. I could not agree more with the author of the article. He clearly states that leaving our vehicles for other activities and using public transport is the best solution to our problems with high levels of pollution and traffic jams. Firstly, we could save ourselves from the contaminated air.

I could not agree more with the author of the article. He clearly states that leaving our vehicles for other activities and using public transport is the best solution to our problems with high levels of pollution and traffic jams.
Firstly, we could save ourselves from the contaminated air. Thousands of cars are emitting harmful fumes which become our “life-sustaining” air.
Secondly, nobody likes to stand in a queue waiting for the green light, traffic jams are even worse. What if we could get faster and cheaper to the school or work by public transport? It is better solution than our own empty car with one passenger inside.
I would be grateful if you could print my letter. I wonder what other readers think about this issue.
