Over the past few years, people have begun to travel all over the world thanks to the possibilities offered by air travel. In my opinion, travelling by aeroplane cannot be compared with any other means of transport. To start with, there is really no faster way to travel. It is possible to go from one country to another in a matter of hours which gives people more time to enjoy the actual purpose of a trip. Furthermore, you always feel looked after on a plane. In fact, you can be served drinks and meals or offered newspaper and blankets on several airlines companies, which help make the journey more comfortable and enjoyable. Some people may argue that travelling by plane can be a nightmare, with airport, delay and turbulence on flight. They forget, however, the plane is by far the safest means of transport, and therefore, it is worth suffering some inconvenience. To sum up, I believe air travel will remain popular because its speed, comfort and convenience are hard to beat.
