It was a typical Monday morning. As usually after waking up and eating breakfast rapidly I stormed out of the house to catch a bus. Day had started nicely and everything had seemed to be going well until I arrived at school. During the whole way to school I had a distinct feeling that I forgot to take something important with me. However, after I had checked out contents of my bag precisely I reached a conclusion that it must be just an illusion. Unfortunately, then my hunch turned out to be real. The moment I reached for keys to open my locker, I realized that it was them that I completely forgot about. As I’m quite forgetful this kind of unpleasant situation already had happened to me few times. But this time things were different. The lesson I was about to attend was held by a very strict and demanding teacher who always require from all of the students to wear school uniform and have their shoes changed. I knew that I won’t be let into the classroom unless I fulfill teacher’s requirements. I nervously digging through my bag again I came across a hairgrip which I always clip my messy hair with. Not seeing any better solution I decided to try breaking into my own locker. I put the hairgrip into the lock and started moving it frantically backwards and forwards. Suddenly the lock budged and opened up. Not having much time I grabbed my uniform and rushed quickly to the classroom. When things calmed down I felt a little confused. Although I was nicely surprised by my breaking-in skills I realized that my padlock needs to be changed because it turn out to be very weak at protecting locker from such lay burglars like me.
