How to get along with parents when you are a teenager?

Are you a teenager? Do you argue with your mum and dad? If you’ve answered “yes” two times then you’d probably like to know how to get along with your parents or how to convince them to your side even if they’re saying absolutely “no” to any of your ideas and wants. First of all, I think that you should gain your parents’ confidence. If parents trust you, they will allow you to do almost anything, because they will know that you are a reliable and responsible person.

First of all, I think that you should gain your parents’ confidence. If parents trust you, they will allow you to do almost anything, because they will know that you are a reliable and responsible person. You must show them that you are an adult.

What’s more, you should try to do something more than as usual, something that will surprise your parents. For example, instead of going out with friends all the time you can stay at home and look after your younger siblings, clean up your room from time to time or just wash the dishes after a meal.

Finally, remember to always tell the truth and never lie. That’s the most important thing in relations between teenagers and parents. You have to understand that they are just only trying to protect you from making the same mistakes as they did in the past. They just love you.

In conclusion, I think that our parents deserve our respect. We should admire them. They are much older and we ought to help them with housework. Why? Because when we are more helpful they let us do more things – it’s so simple!
