Last month I visited the Palace of Culture and Science Warsaw, Poland. I had a fantastic time and I learnt a lot about this beautiful and famous landmark. This modern- looking building was built in 1955 and it is the tallest building in Poland. It was built as “gift Soviet nation for Polish nation”. It designed by Lew Rudniew. Many famous people have visited it. In Palace of culture and science there were many culture events. The first thing I noticed about the building is that looks like a giant pencil, with a tall, pointed top. It’s 237 m high and has 42 floors. Looking at it from the ground made me feel very small. On the top of tower there are four clocks. As soon as I was inside the Palace of Culture and Science, I realized that my visit would be a long one. There is so much to see and do. There are 3288 rooms! The biggest room is Congress Hall. Furthermore, there are three theatre, a cinema, Technique’s Museum, clubs etc. The most beautiful place in Palace of Culture and Science is view terrace on 30 floor. When you are there you can see all Warsaw. It’s amazing! I was sad when it was time to leave. I had a marvelous time there and I hope to go there again on day.
