My attention was caught by an article inserted in The London Paper on 12 December 2011. An author of the article entitled “No votes for teens” contends that people under 21 years of age shouldn’t get the right to vote. The author claims that young people have very low self-awareness and don’t know much about our government and politics. In my opinion it doesn’t work like that. I can agree many young people care about things that concern their personally but some of them are really interested in politics and have a cause for concern.

In respect of my standpoint I would like you to post my response to Poul Smith’s article in The London Paper. I really hope many people will join the discussion.

I’m looking forward to the next issue of The London Paper.

Yours faithfully,
