Role of the woman from the past is commonly known. Women used to have only two purposes- to bring up the children and keep the house. There is no denying that in the 21st century the view of the woman has modified and that roles for them in life are not so limited. Let us look at the view of the modern womanhood in more detail. Firstly, contemporary woman is liberated. From my observation not only they became independent and resourceful, but they can also provide maintenance for themselves and their children. It is even heard about women who are breadwinners! Secondly, the modern woman is multifunctional. She carries out her professional career, about which fifty years ago she could only dream of, while being a mother and a housewife. Moreover, it is noticeable that the characteristic value of our modern fair sex is healthy lifestyle. Nowadays, fitness, jogging and promoting healthy food it is extremely fashionable among womenkind. Unfortunately, 21st century woman it is not only multifunctional, resourceful and well-groomed businesswoman. Vulgar and not self-respecting girls are not a rarity. They consider fun and partying as a priority and assume that the amount of consumed alcohol proves their value. Due to the fact that they do not respect themselves,we meet with diseases such as bulimia and anorexia, which were not spread in the past to this extent. People also said that on the one hand women want equal rights, but on the other they expect a special treatment from manhood. Summing up, in my opinion we should not generalize. Contemporary woman can be both independent and caring as well as irresponsible and demoralized. However, as we all know, there will be an exception to every rule.
