Hi John! How are you doing? Last Friday, we had a Scottish Day Event at our school. We presented Scottish food, culture and some traditions. It was quite difficult to prepare it all! In fact, it took us three weeks to get everything done. I was preparing the food. Peter (a friend of mine) said I should throw all of it away because it was tasteless. I was angry, but we finally agreed to dump the fish because it wasn’t fresh.
The event went well: a lot of people came, ate quite a lot and learnt new things about Scotland. Some of them said they couldn’t wait for the next Scottish Day Event to come. Our English teacher gave us good marks. However, the most important thing is that we also learnt a lot about Scotland!
I’ll call you soon.
Take care,
XYZ
