We live in the world of high technology and modern science gives us an opportunity for space exploration. But is this really necessary for mankind to spend so much money instead of solving problems on the Earth? On the one hand, space exploration is an excellent way to satisfy man`s uncontainable curiosity. People have always dreamed of finding out new forms of life. Exploring space makes us more erudite about the world we live in. It also goes without saying that satellites are extremely irreplaceable in electronic communication. For example, satellite television provides us with a huge number of different channels. Finally, space equipment helps us to learn the weather or predict natural disasters. On the other hand, many people think that such expensive projects are pointless and even scientifically useless. Unfortunately, there are too many people on the Earth who need help. The needs of humanity should come first of all. What is more, our own planet should be also helped because people pollute the environment and the situation is only getting worse. Moreover, we spend so much time to learn about other planets but we know so little about our own. The Earth is definitely amazing and we should think more about it. From my point of view, science and space exploration give us lots of good things. So why not to make technology that will be directly beneficial for us? In conclusion, I believe that we should solve problems on the Earth first and space exploration needs to help us in it.
